Maya came over for a play date and stayed over night. We had raspberry muffins to celebrate her 6 1/2 birthday!!!

There really was some sleep!

We also had fun at the park.

Playdate in October

We went to our friends’ house to play in the leaves. We made fairy pots out of acorns and climbed on the playset in their basement.

dirt

1. I like dirt. I like to put my bare feet on the ground and feel the Earth. Dirt reminds us that we are all connected. Sometimes I like to make mud pies and decorate them with pretty little stones and leaves and sticks. One time I even took a mud bath.
2. Dirt is really fun and mud pies are too. Dirt if fun to dig in and play in. I like how it looks. Did you know that I think Mars is really rich iron dirt. Dirt is quite useful. Dirt is what is in our trees. That’s why almonds have iron. Dirt is so useful you can use it for beaver dams and other dams and it’s really a strong glue. You can also get really dirty and disguise yourself. You can take a bath and get all the dirt off. It’s fun to play in dirt. But it absorbs water a lot, but not as much as you would think. Say if you wanted to put it on top of a flood, it wouldn’t work at all, it would absorb as much water as it could, but it wouldn’t be enough and the flood would keep going.

2. the parks are nice
3. the ice cream is good at mickey’s dairy twist
4. the library is cool, they have a book sale and do summer reading programs, they have a good selection of children’s books
5. it is very quiet
6. sometimes I see deer
7. there are woods and one time I picked up a frog and I was wondering why it was so slimy, it was because it peed
8. almost everyone sprays weed killer, I do not like that
9. saline is close to ann arbor
10. it has some festivals

browns game

This was my first time going to a football game. I am happy to let you enjoy a full album of photos. The game was fun but the Browns lost, but we had fun. I had a little bottle of Gatorade there, the lemon-lime kind.
